Juventus's search for a new striker has led them to Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri are looking to rejuvenate their ageing attack, which is almost certain to lose David Trezeguet in the summer.
Sampdoria's Giampaolo Pazzini and Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko have already been scouted, but attention has now turned to Higuain.
The 22-year-old Argentina international isn't guaranteed a place in the Madrid starting line-up despite scoring 12 goals in 15 appearances this season.
He is currently being valued at around €35m, partly because his contract doesn't expire until 2013.
Juventus are unlikely to be able to afford a straight cash deal for Higuain, making a bid for Pazzini more probable.
Samp want between €22m and €25m for the Italy international, but Juve feel they can bring that price down by offering Seba Giovinco and Paolo De Ceglie in exchange.
