Blaise Matuidi is the latest Juventus play to be sidelined with injury after it was reported he missed training today with a bruised thigh.
The Frenchman featured in yesterday’s 1-0 victory over Genoa but skipped traning today due to a “a severe contusion to the right thigh with consequent bleeding.”
Matuidi is expected to be evaluated in the coming days, along with Juan Cuadrado who is working his way back to fitness.
Sami Khedira and Alex Sandro both came off injured last night and it’s reported by the clubs official website that the duo worked together in the gym in a recovery session along with the remainder of last nights featured players.
Gigi Buffon is expected to return to training this week alongside Claudio Marchisio while Paulo Dybala is continually being assessed each week in the hopes he recovers in time for Juve’s Champions League match against Tottenham Hotspur.
