Former Torino man, Massimo Brambati says Juventus has to equip their squad with experienced players if they want to keep Max Allegri as their manager.
The gaffer is often criticised for not giving chances to youngsters to develop.
He prefers experienced players because they function very well in his system and they usually know what to do.
The Bianconeri have bolstered their squad with the return of Paul Pogba and the free signing of Angel di Maria.
Both players are very experienced, but he might also be forced to rely on the likes of Nicolo Rovella and Nicolo Fagioli if the club doesn’t sign new midfielders.
Brambati doesn’t think it makes sense, he said, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb: “If you take Allegri you cannot give him Rovella, Miretti, Fagioli, who have to grow. You have to take Bremer, Di Maria, Pogba, but more elements of this type.”
Juve FC Says
Serie A is a tough league and you need experienced players to win matches for you.
That is one reason Allegri loves to work with them, and they have won him several trophies.
If we truly want him to bring success back to the club, we probably have to sign more experienced players before this window closes.
This guy’s an idiot. Who cares what he thinks. You need to bring along youth in an experienced atmosphere too. And young players know what to do too. And what’s young? These guys are 21/22 years old. I don’t know about you but I think that an okay age to function properly in the league.
In this modern football you also need young lad to blend with experience player. Experience player doesn’t mean they are 37+ years old like Cristiano. Look at bayern munich, man city or madrid average age in their squad!
i called it bullsht. the only young player is miretti and he already played better than zakaria LOL.
rovella also played very well more than arthur, more than rabbiot, more than bentancur, more than mck.
we brought ronaldo, ramsey, de ligt, dybala and what did they do? gave us crap!
look at sandro and danilo played? they are not young. stop blaming rovella, fagioli and miretti.
even di maria sucks, vlahovic played like amauri, cesni easily beaten by dumbele twice.
the same experience players and they don’t know what to do LOL
its the system, the strategy sucks, allegri was force to play 433 but you cant defense at 433 especially with bad defenders and GK,
when we played 442 we got no other pivot equal to locatelli so putting a shot on goal is a hard work, also the full back are sucks except for MDS and pelegrini but they can’t defense LOL.
u see? its not about experience players, we gave them the chances.
its about the system, the identity.
when you have bad wide players stop trying 433 or 442, as simple as that.
look at 2nd half vs atl madrid when we tried 352, suddenly loca – rovella double pivot controlling the midfield and the ball moves better. its the fking system dudes.
what a football expert can’t even analysis the problems mehhhh
yep, and so the blaming youth narrative begins already. allegri has 0 ideas and doesn`t even have a clue as to how we should play. they will blame Vlahovic in the first instance; his career is on hold until allegri is gone, in act it might destroy his confidence altogether.
@brambati
It’s not about experience players but more of the system and style of the team.juve does not have a style of play and a system that allows youthful players to grow.how can you build and grow without youth.what we need is a structure d system with a coach that has a defined and robust style of play.
he`s not sure how locatelli will play one week before the season starts. allegri has no system, and no style of play ready. when there are multiple people on the pitch that don`t perform, that is down to the coach. Imagine how much better we would be with Conte back in charge, or even if we`d got Inzaghi before he went to merda.
allegri has more than he expected, he said they only needed two players last season. a real coach could get much better out of the players right here. 0 excuses for allegri, absolutely none.
@martinn
When their are multiple people on the pitch who don’t perform that’s down to the coach…
On point Man
All this boils down to his style of play.
The lads seems confused and scared of the opposition. No bite,hunger,drive only missed placed passes here and there.
youth and experience mix, although if we truly had the reboot we were promised, we would be invested in youth and have the cahones to get rid of some of the old guard that shouldn`t be there * sandro, captain couch cough * . easier said than done and it`s not fifa, but it`s pretty obvious. having a positive attacking coach who knew what they were doing should have been a given, Italiano was out of contract, he was there. We could have built and grown.
