Alessandro Del Piero is expecting “a very big signing” from Juventus following the transfer of Leonardo Bonucci.
The former Juve forward addressed Juve’s summer transfer market and Bonucci’s sudden sale to rivals AC Milan.
“Bonucci leaving Juve? It’s a transfer that surprised me a lot,” report Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We need to see what really happened for this conclusion to have been reached.
“Juve have some very precise rules in place. In my 19 years as a Bianconero, I’ve seen some players that behaved in a certain way and were fined heavily.
“Evidently, in this case, we’ve reached a point of no return. Milan pulled off a huge coup due to not only the player’s value but also his charisma.
“Now I expect a very big signing from Juve, the purchase of a player who hasn’t been talked about yet.
“This must also fill the void created by such a significant departure. It’s undeniable that Milan have been strengthened, but football isn’t only about players.
“You also need a style of play that works and unity of purpose in the dressing room.”
