Getting Paulo Dybala on a new contract is one of Juventus’ priorities this summer.
The Argentinean had an underwhelming 2020/2021 campaign, but he remains an important part of the Juventus set-up and would play a key role for the club under Massimiliano Allegri.
Dybala and Juve want to continue their relationship, but an agreement has been tough to reach.
Tuttojuve says Juventus wants to get him on a new deal worth less than 10m euros per season.
However, the attacker is hesitant to sign it and wants more money.
Money isn’t the only problems stopping an agreement between both parties with the report claiming that Dybala also wants some technical guarantees to confirm that he remains a relevant player in Turin.
Allegri has never been an overwhelming Dybala fan, but he has found a way to get fine performances from the former Palermo man.
He would be open to allowing Dybala to leave, but he also favours selling Cristiano Ronaldo and he isn’t prepared to lose his two top attackers in the same summer.
The club and Dybala have to reach a new agreement before next season starts or the Bianconeri risk losing him for nothing at the end of the campaign.
it all depends on United. psg won`t do business with us because of their `friendship` with a certain football official, so if i have a preference keep dybala, although he is worth a lot more than ronnie.
so for mercato it`s a win-win IF we spend the money well. if greedy ronnie won`t leave then we are lumbered yet again. hopefully he can score against benevento this time bwahahahah
Agree, keep Dybala and sell Ronaldo.
This year, we saw a team around based around Ronaldo as Dybala first had Corona for a long time and then a terrible injury stent, hennce unavaible for much of the season.
And what happened, a terrible season, only securing a CL spot in the very last round, thanks to Dybala and a benched Ronaldo (1-4 against Bologna).
Ronaldo is very overrated as a player, he’s a great poacher (striker) but he can’t carry a team, he needs a Modric to feed him and Benzema to give up on his own goals to assist Ronaldo, and then he’s great, but on his own, he’s not really that great..
He either leaves or stays but his terms are becoming obnoxious. I had prefer him to Ronaldo but the way he keeps nagging and dragging this contract issue is giving us concern. He should remember that many are dying for an opportunity to showcase their God given talent and their are many that are willing to carry the team.
