The former Italian player, Giuseppe Incocciati, has criticised Juventus’ decision to offload Paulo Dybala because the Argentinian is a special player.
Dybala was at Juve between 2015 and this summer when the club allowed him to leave as a free agent.
The Argentinian was one of the best forwards in the world when he played for the Bianconeri and led them to the 2017 Champions League final.
Juve initially wanted to hand him a new deal and repeatedly made offers to him.
They eventually decided against the idea, and his contract was allowed to run down.
The attacker now plays for AS Roma, and he would face the Bianconeri with his new team this weekend.
Incocciati admits he loves the player, and he does not understand why a club will not want to keep him.
He said, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb:
“Juve-Roma? I am in love with Dybala and for me he is the model footballer. I put him in the same way as the many champions and he is indispensable for the imagination of this team. It will make the difference, stimulated by having that one in front of him. team that has put him in difficulty. We complain about not having players like that and then we send them away.”
Juve FC Says
Dybala served us very well when he was in good shape, and the Argentinian remains one of the finest players we have had.
However, no one can stay at the same club forever, and some have to finish their careers elsewhere.
We allowed him to leave at the right time, and now is the time to move on.
Yes, everyone seems to have an opinion about what JUVENTUS should or should not do, including those who have never liked or been fans of Juventus.
Incocciati ( who?) should not be given the time of day.
Period.
He’s not wrong though. We allowed Dybala and Morata to leave and replaced them with Milik – Lmao. Di Maria is only here for 12 months, and with Cuads on an expiring contract and Kean a libaility, we’re potentially looking at starting next season with only Chiesa, Kostic and Vlahovic in our forward line.
ANDREW FARRUGIA
Agree with you 100%. I would also add, that no-one really knows what happened behind the scenes.
SLAMMED by INCOCCIATI……..wow, great news, I DO NOT THINK.
INCOCCIATI….the new RIVERA…….please , do not make me laugh!

I know these are time sof INFLATION, but MORATA , for his performances with JUVENTUS was NOT worth 35 MILLION euros. Thank you, ALVARO , for the service, but we move on. C’est la vie.
DYBALA. I love him, I love his play , BUT in the last two years he was more injured than playing……….his salary was abso -bloomin -lutely too high for JUVENTUS in post-Covid times……..GOOD LUCK LA JOYA, we will miss you, but not too much. WE WON NOTHING of import with you in the team. ESP the disappointing night vs REAL DE MADRID.
Still, good luck La JOYA.
JUVENTUS F C have decie to pin their hopes on VLAHOVIC ( 22 years old) and CHIESA ( 24 years old) rather than DYBALA ( 28 years old).
PERIOD.
Dybala scored 68 goals in 140 games during his first three seasons in Turin; his last four seasons saw him score 47 in 153 games. Clearly, his output had dropped significantly & he was no longer the big match player he used to be. And remember he is 28, although he doesn’t look it, he is injury prone & giving him a 5-year-contract would have been insane. He did some good things for Juventus, but calling him a model footballer is ridiculous especially when you consider how many times he disrespected his manager & those who pay his wages. He often acted like a spoilt brat when he was substituted & then sat on the bench showing the world his contempt. It’s also clear that Dybala & his agent would have expected the biggest clubs in Europe to be falling over themselves to sign him as a free agent. The fact that they didn’t tell you everything about how Dybala’s stock has fallen among the elite clubs. Whatever happens later today I’m glad he is where he is. Move on everyone.
