Juventus have “categorically denied” that Paulo Dybala has tested positive for Coronavirus with the player himself calling it “fake news.”
News broke late last night from Venezuelan newspaper El Nacional that La Joya had contracted the COVID-19 and promptly spread across European press.
Despite no official confirmation from the club or player, the story spread across social media and was quoted in the Daily Mail, amongst others.
Juventus have since “categorically denied” that the Argentine has the Coronavirus in a statement shared by Italian press agency ANSA.
The player has since taken to social media to dismiss the story outright, declaring it ‘fake news’.
