As Juventus continues to struggle, questions have been asked about the future of Max Allegri, and rightly so.
When the club brought him back in the summer, we expected the team to perform better than it did in the last campaign under Andrea Pirlo.
That hasn’t been the case and you can even argue that it was much better to watch Juve under the former midfielder than the current manager.
Fans started calling for Allegri to be sacked after the 1-1 draw against Bologna at the weekend, but will the club answer their call?
Calciomercato.it says that will unlikely be the case because when the club brought him back in the summer, it was ready to give the gaffer time to make the team great again.
They offered him a long-term deal and a huge salary because they trust him to rebuild the team and make it a beacon of success as he did in his first spell in charge.
Juve FC Says
Under Allegri, we had to choose between beautiful football and winning trophies when he was the club manager before this spell.
However, his current team delivers none and why should he remain at the job if he is not doing better than Pirlo did?
The decision-makers call the shots and they will decide his future when this season ends, but it is hard to see them get rid of him even if we don’t make the top four.
He is doing better than Pirlo.
How can anyone forget so quickly?
Last season we made a top 4 spot in the very last match, partly because Verona helped us by winning their last match =
We couldn’t make a top 4 spot without help.
This season, we are already in a top 4 spot (& have been for a while), & we’re not completely out of the running for a top 3 yet.
& we made this by ourselves
= improvement
It’s as simple as that, we have improved.
So…..
Serie a is generally much worse this season
Probaby won’t even match pirlo’s juve points
Allegri doesn’t coach midfield and attack linking up or any attacking patterns?…a true disaster
Bologna was highly, highly embarrassing
This is not even a good allegri performance by his old standards something is very wrong right now and he’s not addressing it
It’s true some of the players are bad… but will he use our squad properly? will younger players ever play for us? Because they must be better than some of those players now, ( the ‘experienced’ aren’t even trying) despite his fear of ‘risk’.Allegri has been much, much better than this in the past. I’m extremely concerned
Have we improved or not?
Are we now a relativly safe no 4 unlike last season.
It’s not complicated.
We have improved.
Has Serie a got worse? that is also a factor to define improvements. We are in a better position despite Allegri is one interpretation.
Comparing Pirlo to Allegri as a manager is as silly as comparing Max to Pirlo as a player. Pirlo had Ronaldo. Allegri started the season with Kean.
With Pirlo at the helm Juve would be fighting for Salvation not spot in next year’s CL.
Btw, if Pirlo is such a brilliant manager why is he still unemployed? Playing at Juve is different than playing at other clubs in Italy. The same goes for managing Juve. No one understands the role better than Max. Locatelli, Zakaria and McKennie are improvements, but none of them is a true registra – the spot that hasn’t been filled since Pirlo went off to MLS. There are other spots to be addressed (left back, at least one central defender and a striker partner for VL), but bringing in an experienced registra has to be the top offseason priority for Juve. You can’t win Serie A let along contend in CL without a top registra.
If Juve not winning all remaining games, Allegri must leave. Bologna is the team to beat not a draw game, thanks Morata and Vlahovic.
Pirlo don’t have valhovic, locatelli, and is his first season of coaching senior team which he stated with club like juve ,and he play better football than this allegri’s erra.had it been he has Zakkariya in his sqauard i think he can win the league, cos he have Ronaldo.so pirlo is little bit better.
