Tottenham Hotspur are just one of a series of Premier League sides interested in Fernando Llorente according to Spanish paper, AS.
Llorente has struggled for form this season managing just four Serie goals in 20 appearances and looks to have lost his starting spot to fellow Spaniard, Alvaro Morata.
Spanish paper ‘AS’ reports that Spurs are just one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in signing the 29-year-old striker. This follows on from RAI’s reports yesterday which suggest the London side are looking for new striking options given the likely departure of Emmanuel Adebayor and possibly Roberto Soldado.

okay bye
never really been a fan of his, people talk about his hold up play but I really don’t think it’s that good, have you seen some of the passes and lay off’s he makes?!
Jesus Christ… most of the time his touch is awful
he had some great games, but overall, he’s not the player we thought he would be at Juve. I thought he and Tevez would really develop into a lethal partnership but it just hasn’t happened for him which is a real shame because he’s one of the best characters we’ve ever had at the club
PL just got all that TV money too so hopefully they overpay for him. I’d hope for at least 15m that way we can at least bring in Zaza for replacement
I always think of how things would be different if Serie A was having it’s glory years during this last 10 years … With the money being paid in television contracts these days, plus the age of the internet, a league like Serie A of the 1990’s and early 2000’s in today’s day and age would have been incredible… It never would have lost it’s lustre. Juve. Milan, Roma and Inter would be among the top 10 biggest clubs in the world and with the players that went through Serie A during that generation, wow. Crazy.
It sure would be something. I hope Milan and Roma become top clubs again soon but I hope Inter never win another scudetto
I think I would go for this deal, even though I like El Rey Leon, this would be the best time to cash in. Doubt we’ll get more than 10mill max though
Llorente has done well with the exception of a few games where he looked really off. The worrying aspect is that his play has declined since Morata took his starting place. With Zaza likely to come back this summer, I think Juve can safely unload Llorente for the right price. It would be wasteful to have Zaza, Morata and Llorente competing for a single spot.
Considering he arrived for free, almost any price would do. I hope we can get back his wages, but I don’t wish for more.
By the same argument, we should let Pogba go for any price because we got him for free? 🙂
Jokes aside, I think he still has decent value. Transfermarkt values him at €23m.

I’d be happy with anything above €13m
23mill? Llorente? that seems like a hefty price tag. 15mill seems like a fair price to me, he’s (close to) 30, I doubt anyone will pay more than that.
Yes, it is a little high. I think they overvalue forwards/strikers. For example, the most comparable player to Llorente in Serie A is Mario Gomez and he’s valued at €21m.
Id rather have a healthy Gomez than Llorente.
Lol, I think anyone would have Gomez over Llorente though. But both are overvalued, their age is too much against them to pay over 20mill on them, imho.
I also think they overvalue strikers :p
No, that’s not what I meant. 😛
“Considering he arrived for free and he did not prove to be what we thought he would, almost any price would do.”
Yeah I’m just messing with you
We should do it. He’s just not good enough for us, despite him being a great guy. I am thankful for the goals and the effort he put it, but if Spurs are serious, it’s time to go.
