Gianluigi Buffon |
A truly straightforward game for the veteran keeper. Rarely troubled. |
7.0 |
||
Martin Caceres |
First choice defender? He should be after this display. Made plenty of runs forward in the first half, important and well-timed tackles in the second. Exceptional display. |
7.6 |
||
Leonardo Bonucci |
Stuck to Di Natale like a fly on…well, you know. Seems less error prone and more composed in the centre of the back 3. |
7 |
||
Angelo Ogbonna |
Much like Bonucci, a quiet and composed display. Not often troubled but stepped up when called upon. |
7.2 |
||
Stephan Lichtsteiner |
Linked up with Pogba and Caceres time and again. Became the go-to man to create something for Juve and readily set up the opening goal for Carlos Tevez. |
7.8 |
||
Claudio Marchisio – MOM |
Picked up exactly where he left off last week. A more than able deputy for Pirlo in this kind of game. Ran the play with fantastic distribution and sealed the win with his fine goal. |
8.5 |
||
Paul Pogba |
A typical ‘Pogba’ performance packed with power and pace. Galloped all over the pitch and created chances where he could. |
7.4 |
||
Roberto Pereyra |
A bright debut, played some great passes with Marchisio and played his part in the opening goal. A fine full debut for the midfielder. |
7.4 |
||
Patrice Evra |
A hit and miss debut for the Frenchman. Looked off the pace at times and misplaced some passes. Came into the game as it went on. |
6.4 |
||
Carlos Tevez |
Scored the opener with ease before setting up Marchisio for the second. Another strong performance from the Argentine who Juve are becoming all too dependent on. |
8.3 |
||
Fernando Llorente |
Failed to score but held up the ball on numerous occasions to bring his teammates into play. Underrated performance as always. |
6.8 |
Llorente was, by far, the worst on the field.
His job is difficult tho. He can’t create his own chances if everything goes through the middle.
i agree. He holds up the ball well and causes lots of trouble for the defenders… and hes not selfish
