Nicolo Fagioli is currently making headlines for the wrong reasons due to his alleged involvement in betting with an illegal platform. However, this situation might not necessarily lead to repercussions for Juventus.
Typically, when a player becomes embroiled in a scandal, their club also faces scrutiny, and fans may wonder if Juventus will be penalised for Fagioli’s betting activities. According to reports from Calciomercato, the issue is primarily the player’s responsibility, and any consequences will be borne by him alone.
The report suggests that Fagioli acted independently, and Juventus would only face problems if it is proven that someone within the club was aware of his actions and encouraged them. As of now, the club appears to be in the clear unless further evidence suggests otherwise.
Juve FC Says
Juve is one of the top clubs in the world, so there is certainly no way that we would have encouraged Fagioli in something like this.
Every official at the club knows what is allowed and what is not allowed, and we expect them to always stick by the rules.
If an official is proven to have known about the issue and encouraged the youngster, we expect that individual to be seriously punished.
It would such a huge waste of talent if he gets banned.
hands-down the best midfielder in the team after Pogba. if he gets banned too Juve should buy some new legs
I don’t agree. I find as of today Rabiot, Weah, Locatelli and Kostic are superior to him in the midfield. On the other hand, he and Soule might be our best talents, and loosing him would be a huge blow.
There is clearly a problem with discipline, as things like these must have been discussed with the players (including taking unknown medication). I find it irresponsible by Pogba and Fagioli to do such things. As to Fagioli, I’m very disappointed as he is one of our brightest stars
Brainless like Pogba.
agree
He was betting on what position Allegri would play him in this week and whether he or Miretti would start.
Juve in the news yet again for the wrong reason. Clearly the spotlight is on Juve. They are looking for any loophole to nail the club. I don’t believe other teams in Italy and their players are completely free from all the issues they are investigating about Juve and her players. The best response Juve can give is to go on and win the league despite all the off field troubles. That will be great If only Allegri can make it happen
